What are the classes like?
Every session is hands-on and in person. Here is what you can count on.
Ages 6 to 14
Built for children from the early grades through middle school.
An hour, twice a week
Short enough to stay focused, often enough for good habits to stick.
In person, in a small group
Children talk ideas through out loud, which a screen at home cannot replace.
Billed month to month
Simple monthly billing, with the rate published on our pricing page.
See current monthly rates on our pricing page.
What will my child learn?
Not a list of apps. Children build three habits that still work when the tools change, and they practice all three in every session.
Forming their own answer first, then using AI to test it rather than to replace it.
Ethical AIKnowing when to use AI, when to stop, whose work the result really is, and who a system might leave out.
AI LiteracyUnderstanding how AI works well enough to catch it when it sounds sure but is wrong.
How the three fit together is explained on the program page.
Why learn about AI in a room, not an app?
Children are more easily swayed by machines than adults are. In one experiment, children aged 7 to 9 copied robots that gave obviously wrong answers, while adults ignored them.
Learning to push back is easier with people around. The largest review of how to teach critical thinking found the biggest gains when real problems, discussion and a mentor were combined, nearly twice the average effect.

AI classes or coding classes for kids: what’s the difference?
Coding classes
Teach children to write exact instructions that a computer follows step by step. The computer does precisely what it is told, so a mistake is usually in the code.
AI classes
Teach children how systems that learn from examples make guesses, why those guesses can sound certain and still be wrong, and how to use them without handing over their thinking.
They are not either-or. A child who can code still needs to judge what an AI tells them, and most children are already meeting AI long before they write a line of code.
In a 2026 Pew Research Center survey, 64% of US teens said they use AI chatbots, while only about half of their parents thought they did.
